iRead Easter Camp 2019- Design Thinking
iRead Mobile Library holds her 2019 Heroes Meetup tagged ‘Design Thinking’ Camp.
Our Mission – The mission of iRead Recreation Centre is to provide high quality, diverse and accessible programs, services and facilities that enhance the quality of life for children ages between 4 and12 years. The Easter camp meetup with theme ‘Design Thinking’, amongst other things is to inspire children’s skills in reading, innovation, problem solving and leadership. Children love to be involved in what is happening around them and we believe in taking kids seriously because they have a huge potential to make the world a better place.
Our Programme – nowhere will you find a better quality and all-inclusive programme, offering such a wide variety of activities. We want each child to experience new reading adventures and this helps us in the selection of our books and programmes for them. Drama, News Casting, Spelling bee, Dictionary race, Leadership talk, Safety and Caution, Environmental Issues, Sex Education, Etiquette, Photography, Social skills, Dance, Music, Creative writing, Photography and public speaking classes are all inclusive in iRead Camp.
Our Care – we deliver exactly what we promise which is a caring fun and exciting programme. Children will not always get exactly what they want but we strive to help them learn what they need! iRead Camp programs offer close staff supervision and features an excellent student to staff ratio based on age and interest needs of the children. Each team will have 6-12 children. There will be a certified teacher and two care-givers with each group. The ratios range is 6:1. Our Staff are trained, tried and trusted personnel who are focused and experienced in child care matters.
